How I Get That Website Online

I design and build exclusively on WordPress, using a theme called Divi.

Divi is what’s called a premium theme, which means it is a paid for product, with either an annual or lifetime license.

The lifetime license I hold means that if I build a website for you, you will always get the latest updates to the theme, ensuring nothing breaks (handy!).

Should you decide to move away from my services (hosting or build), you will keep the license for updates until the end of your contracted term, at which time I will remove your ability to receive updates. Your site will not immediately break! But over time you will be using an increasingly out of date product, which will break sooner or later (or let a hacker in). You can purchase your own Divi licence at any time, or move to another theme.

In addition, I have licenses for other functionality which means that I am able to get you better prices and terms for products and services that you might not otherwise be able to get. 

The reason I use both WordPress and the Divi theme is that both have capacity to grow and scale with your (and my!) business. This means that as you grow, your website functionality can easily grow with you – even seeing a complete brand refresh from time to time (I’ve done this several times with my own sites and for clients).

I can also advise you on membership and online course plugins if that’s a route you want to go down.

The domain name and hosting services I offer are as a reseller from a company called 20i – you are perfectly welcome to go directly to them for these services! They do offer resellers a better deal on these services though, so unless you sign up as a reseller too, you are unlikely to get the same deals I do.
